• The prototype of health-monitoring wearable device is designed by Chenlu Wu, Yiran Zuo and Lucia Ramirez. It is a helpful intelligent assistant to keep an eye on the users’ health conditions.
• The Fall detection system is one of the key features of the device. The user status is detected in real time by analyse the data obtained from daily movements. Once an abnormal event happened, an alert will be triggered to the cloud via WiFi and a warning message will be received by caregivers.
• High accuracy: Accuracy has been rigorous tested, among the movements like Jumping, walking, sitting, bend down, spinning, running, and tumbling, only tumbling could trigger the alert.
• Heart rate measurement is another feature of the wearable device. By receiving and processing the analog ECG signal from AD8232, clients will easily monitor their heart beat rate through smartphone (support both Android and iOS) wirelessly.
